720 Jobs Added in Westborough in 2016

WESTBOROUGH, MA — At its annual meeting, Westborough Economic Development Committee reported on the town's gains in 2016, which included 710 jobs.

The jobs were reported as added since Jan. 1, and there was also a retention of 1,800 jobs in Westborough, reports the Worcester Business Journal. Westborough's EDC Chairman Deborah Penta told the Journal that the committee had contributed to more than 500,000 feet of expansion and $9.6 million to the tax base.
