The break-ins occurred over the last few days at businesses along Route 9 and in a housing development.

WESTBOROUGH, MA — Westborough police are seeking tips from the public following a series of commercial and residential break-ins over the past two days.

The five break-ins began at the Sachi Japanese Steakhouse, which thieves ransacked and stole cash from. In two more commercial break-ins at True Salon and Deluxe Spa and Nails, which are inside the same shopping plaza along Route 9, thieves also stole cash.

Police have also responded to break-ins along Charlestown Meadows Drive, a housing development that includes town homes. In both break-ins, the homeowners were away and returned to find cash and property missing, plus signs of someone rummaging through belongings, police said in a news release.
