ALERT: Chemical Treatment of Lake Chauncy
Officials warn residents to stay away from Lake Chauncy for a certain period after the treatment.
Aquatic Control Technology has been applying chemical treatments to Lake Chauncy since the 1990s.
Westborough asked for the application to help control Eurasian Water milfoil and algae outbreaks at Lake Chauncy Beach.
The treatment will take place again this year, on Thursday, June 4.

Following said treatment, there will be
No fishing, swimming boataing until: June 5
No drinking or domestic usage until: June 10
No usage for irrigation, watering livestock until: June 10
