Westborough School Supply Drive Returns For Eighth Year

WESTBOROUGH, MA — Westborough Youth and Family Services is collecting school supplies this summer to help local students start the school year prepared.

The group is holding its eighth school supply drive, with donations due by Monday, Aug. 10. Last year, the drive provided backpacks and supplies to more than 150 Westborough students in need.

Westborough Youth and Family Services requested items including sturdy backpacks for all ages, Ticonderoga pencils, small scissors, Crayola colored pencils, 3-by-5 note cards, glue sticks, washable Crayola markers, school boxes, binders, black and blue pens, dry erase markers, Sharpie markers, pocket folders, pencil cases, composition books, spiral notebooks, highlighters, sticky notes and page protectors.

Donations can be dropped off at the Westborough Police Department lobby, Westborough Senior Center, St. Luke’s Parish Center, the outside clerk’s office at Westborough Town Hall, Central One Federal Credit Union and Westborough Library.
