Anti- Drug Night for teens
Church hosts an evening of sharing, music and testimony facing the drug challenge in our community for young adults.
I AM Drug Free
Sunday, October 18, 6:30 p.m.
The growing epidemic of drug addiction and overdose is one that has touched many lives within our nation, state and local community. Massachusetts state police are reporting more than 200 suspected heroin overdose deaths during the first three months of 2015, a figure that doesn’t even include the state’s three largest cities. The First UMC Westborough has chosen to face this challenge in a proactive manner rather than decide it is just too big or too far removed for us to have an impact.

Join us for an evening of sharing, education, laughter and tears for youth and young adults as we do our small part to face the problem of drug addiction in our community. You will hear moving testimony from people close to this tragedy and hear music from the Teen Challenge Choir. Teens will learn that they can enjoy a pure and healthy lifestyle by saying ‘yes’ to God and making a promise to avoid the risky behavior that can lead to heartbreak for so many.
We hope to see you on October 18th and that you might invite someone who can benefit from this event. Please contact the church @ 508-366-4910 with any questions or opsmanager@firstumchurch.com.
