Back Bay Artist's Paintings Displayed at Art and Frame Emporium

The exhibit runs until May 10.

The Art and Frame Emporium's newest exhibit features 12 paintings by Back Bay artist Jordan Montgomery.

Montgomery said the paintings represent some of her work over the past seven years.

Montgomery said she assembled the exhibit after an Emporium employee urged her to sell her art at the store. Montgomery had stopped in with of her paintings for her boyfriend's mother for Christmas. She returned two to three weeks later with more of her work, and was invited to do a show.

"I wanted to get my artwork out there and get a little bit of practice in as far as having a show," she said.

The exhibit runs April 10 to May 10. Some of Montgomery's work will remain displayed at the shop beyond that, owner Ed Turner said.
