Beth L. Johnson Wins Westborough's Only Contested Race For Housing Authority: See Official Results

The other seven races were uncontested, meaning the winning candidate faced no challenger.

WESTBOROUGH, MA — The results are in for Westborough's 2026 Annual Town Election.

Beth L. Johnson has won the one and only contested race in town for an open seat on the Westborough Housing Authority.

"I am eager to join the Housing Authority Board, which has a great team in place," Johnson told Patch. "I will have a lot to learn, and I'm excited to get started."

Johnson garnered 239 votes, besting Carla M. Cook by a small margin of 33 votes, according to the official results.

Westborough's town clerk told Patch that 478 voters came out on Tuesday, bringing the voter turnout for the Town Election to 3-percent.

Residents voted on the Select Board, School Committee, Planning Board, Moderator, Town Clerk, Trustees of the Public Library, Trustees of the Soldiers' Memorial-Veteran and the Westborough Housing Authority.

Voting was held from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. at the Westborough High School gym.
