Block Party Offers Many Family Events

The annual July 4^th Family Block Party is planned for Friday, July 1, from 6 to 10 p.m. West Main Street between the rotary and Church Street will be closed to traffic for the event.

Scheduled entertainment includes music by The Reminisants, a 6:30 p.m. magic show, the Westborough Community Band and RE/MAX hot air balloon rides at Bay State Commons.

Among the children’s events are hay rides, pony rides, moon bounce, dunk tank, sand art, face painting, tattoos, putting green, racing cars and a ring toss.

The list of food concessions includes pizza from Papa Gino’s, sausages from , Juniper Farms ice cream truck, steak tips and burgers from, hard ice cream by Holy Cow Ice Cream Shop, hot dogs, cotton candy and fried dough.

The event is presented by the Westborough July 4^th Planning Committee.
