Elsie Kaye Gift Shop &amp; Artisan Studio In 2009, on a whim, Holly Kenny took a flameworking class and learned to make glass beads. This sparked a love of glass art and led to the launch her business, Elsie Kaye Gift Shop and Art Studio in downtown Westborough. Holly currently teaches flameworking and metalworking at her studio and is on the faculty at the New England Craft Program in Williamsburg, MA. Holly loves the fluidity and movement of glass and enjoys incorporating metals, enamels and other elements that can change the texture and appearance of the glass. As a result, much of her work takes on an abstract, organic feel. Her work, under the name Elsie Kaye Glassworks, can be found at more than 50 boutiques and galleries across the country. Holly is passionate about promoting emerging local artists by selling their work at her retail shop, as well as helping to foster connections with new and existing businesses in the local area. She is an active member of her community, where she has lived with her husband and two children since 2006.

The Chateau Italian Family Dining restaurant will hold a fundraiser for the Boston Marathon tragedy victims next week. Next Tuesday, the restaurant will donate 20 percent (less tax) from its lunch, dinner and take-out sales to The One Fund Boston. The fundraiser will be held at all of The Chateau's restaurants: Westborough, Stoughton, Norton, Norwood, Waltham, Andover, Braintree and Burlington. The Chateau announced the news on <a href="https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10151402956888657&amp;set=a.10150220204173657.310914.103541628656&amp;type=1&amp;theater" rel="noopener nofollow" target="_blank">its Facebook page</a>.

Computer hard drives will be destroyed during the recycling process, but can be removed on-site at the event for an additional charge. You become a Dementia Friend by attending a free 90-minute information session to learn the five key messages about living with dementia and the simple things you can do to make your community a safer, supportive, and more inclusive place for people living with dementia and their care partners.
What Happens at the Information Session?
It’s an engaging and interactive discussion led by an experienced volunteer Dementia Friends Champion. You’ll learn what dementia is, the different types, what it’s like to live with it, tips for communicating with people with dementia, and about the extensive available resources and support for families and care partners. 
Participants say:
“This has opened my eyes.”&nbsp;“I wish I knew this five years ago when my family was going through it.”&nbsp;“I will be much more aware at work and out in my community.”
