Civic Club tree sales off to a good start

A spell of dry weather means time to get that holiday tree...

The first load of trees delivered to the Westborough Civic Club tree lot at 55 East Main St. last weekend was unloaded in record time with the help of the WHS Football team and other volunteers. Club president Steve Hart reports that despite the midweek downpours sales are already going well this year and with clear weather ahead the Club is preparing for what should be the first of two busy weekends. For those worried about finding 'just the right tree' the good news is that a further 750 tree arrive early Saturday morning. Hart commented that along with ensuring an ongoing supply of fresh trees the club was proud of the quality of the wreaths and roping also on sale, with customers consistently commenting on their fullness and quality. The tree lot will be open 9.00 a.m.-9.00 p.m. every weekend and 1.00-9.0 p.m. weekdays between now and Christmas Eve.
