Come Play Tennis and Send Another Child to Diabetes Camp!

Westborough Lions Host 3rd Annual Charity Tennis Tournament

The Westborough Lions Club is hosting its 3rd Annual Charity Tennis Tournament on Saturday, June 22nd, at the Westborough High School tennis courts. It will be an all Doubles, Swiss-style tournament with no elimination. Players will sign up individually, will be matched with a player of like rating, and will play for about two hours. Non-residents and Varsity High School players are welcome to participate.

The Women's Division will begin at 8 a.m. with the Men's Division following at 11 a.m. Trophies will be awarded to each Division winner. Immediately following each Division, players may compete in the Great Balls of Fire target contest. Prizes will be awarded to the winners.

The standard entrance fee is $30 for Adults and $20 for High School Varsity Players. Balls and a T-Shirt are included. For an optional $50 Gold Level Entrance Fee, the participant will receive a Gold T-Shirt. All proceeds will support the purchase of a campership for a local child with Type 1 Diabetes to attend overnight camp at Camp Joslin or Camp Clara Barton in N. Oxford, MA this summer.
