Concerts on the Common Series Announced for Westborough

WESTBOROUGH, MA — The Concerts on the Common Series has been announced for this year.

All shows start at 6 p.m. and are free.

June 24

The Country Mile Band: New England's country music, dance, party and show band.

July 26

Better Her Than Me: A fun, high-energy bands, playing great dance music from the 60s through the present. Top40, 80s rock, Motown, R&B, 70s funk, and more. Members in the band have been performing together for more than two decades, and we've played hundreds of gigs over that time.

Aug. 9

Boombox: The '70s and '80s Experience: It's a band. It's a show. Take a ride through the defining sounds of two of the most influential, and hilarious, decades in rock music. From AM Gold, classic rock and disco to synth pop, big hair rock and dance, Boombox takes you back. This band, dressing the part, plays a set of '70s and a set of '80s, paying tribute to such artists as Donna Summer, Rick Springfield, Michael Jackson, the Rolling Stones, Heart, Flock of Seagulls, The J Geils Band and more.

All shows take place at Baystate Common.
