Crews Responds to 10-Acre Brush Fire in Westborough

Fire crews were called around 5:30 p.m. to reports of a brush fire.

A District 14 task force was called to assist the Westborough Fire Department in battling a fire burning on more than 10 acres behind the Westborough State Hospital at 288 Lyman Street.

Westborough Fire reported by 7 p.m. that multiple mutual aid was called to assist with the fire.

Yesterday, Westborough Fire put out a brush fire that burnt nearly an acre between 153 Turnpike Road and Oak Street. The photo pictured, taken by Westborough Fire, is of the fire yesterday.
