Democratic Meeting in Wesborough in May

Westborough Democrats will be hosting a gathering of delegates to the Democratic State Convention on Tuesday, May 16 at 7:00 pm at Tatnuck Bookseller, 18 Lyman Street, Westborough. The meeting is open the public and is an opportunity for Democrats to share thoughts with those who have been elected to represent the area at the State Convention in June.

"The Westborough Democratic Town Committee is inviting area delegates to come together," noted Westborough Democratic Town Committee Chair, Kate Donaghue. "We'll give delegates an overview of what to expect at the Convention in June. In addition to preparing for the Convention, we'll dedicate some time to sharing ideas for Democratic activities."

Recent months have seen an increased level of activism both here in Massachusetts and across the county

"I encourage anyone who is interested in connecting with the Democratic Party here in Westborough to attend," commented Donaghue. "I've seen interesting programs sponsored by Democrats in Ashland, Newton and Hudson over the past few months. Representatives of these Democratic Committees have been invited to attend and we plan to discuss possible activities."

The Westborough Democratic Town Committee normally meets on the third Tuesday of the month in the meeting room at the Tatnuck Bookseller on Lyman Street.
