Eagle Scout Rank Earned by Westborough Troop Member

Jack Howarth, a scout in Westborough Boy Scout Troop 100, was given the rank of Eagle Scout, reported the Community Advocate

With an award ceremony on Oct. 4, Howarth was presented with the rank, which he earned by obtaining 36 merit badges and a World Conservation Award. The Westborough scout was elected to the Order of the Arrow in 2012 and also achieved Brotherhood in the Chippanyonk Lodge.

His Eagle project consisted of making a staircase on a Bowman Conservation Area trail, said the Advocate.
