Election: Westborough Picks Kane for State Rep.

Westborough voters chose Republican Hannah Kane in the election for state rep. in the 11th Worcester District.

Kane received 627 votes to Democrat Jason Palitsch’s 474.

The two vied for the spot vacated by Republican Matthew Beaton, who left to become the Secretary of Energy and Environmental Affairs.

Of the 5,373 eligible voters in Westborough, 1,121 voted in the election, representing 21 percent.
