Employee Arrested For Stealing From Liquor Store Over Period Of Time

WESTBOROUGH, MA — A man is facing larceny charges after allegedly stealing from a local liquor store at which he worked.

On Feb. 16 around 3 p.m., Westborough police investigated a theft at Julio's Liquors in Westborough, which involved an employee who had been allegedly stealing thousands of dollars from the business for a period of time.

As a result of the investigation, Westborough Police arrested Roy Menendez, 55, Atwood Lane, Shrewsbury, and charged him with larceny over $250. He was arrested without incident at his residence with the assistance of the Shrewsbury Police.

He will be arraigned at Westborough District Court Friday afternoon.
