The musical Godspell by Steven Schwarz, will be presented by members of For Your Inspiration Youth Choir of First United Methodist Church, Corpus Christi, Texas. Music Director for the production is Brad Kisner, the church's Director of Music & Fine Arts. Accompanist is Franklin Beyer. Stage direction help is by Sarah Contreras.
The musical, Godspell, was premiered in 1971 and is a musical based upon the Gospel according to St. Matthew. It ran on Broadway for several years and has become popular with church and community theatres throughout the country.
This performance is part of the choir's annual Outreach Choir Tour which this year includes the Boston & New York City areas.
