Presentation of Open Space and Recreation Plan

The meeting takes place in Room 23 of the Forbes Municipal Building. The Westborough Open Space Preservation will present the 2012 update of the Westborough Open Space and Recreation Plan. Plans are required by the state and include an inventory of all open space lands in Westborough, as well as information about goals and objectives. The plan highlights the preservation of the Veterans' Freedom Park and goals regarding the preservation of open space lands at the former Westborough State Hospital. At the meeting, Melissa Cryan from the state Division of Conservation Services will make a presentation about open space and recreation plans and their purposes. Residents may access the plan on the town website, and may send comments to openspaceplan@town.westborough.ma.us.
