The Westborough Players' Club will hold an audition technique workshop for youth ages 8 through 14 from 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 16 at the Harvey Building, 20 Phillips St.
The workshop will help kids who are interested in participating in the theater arts to learn to prepare for an audition.
The Players felt that with the upcoming auditions for “Annie” that this would offer the younger actors and actresses some practice before auditioning.

The workshop will be taught by the directors of “Annie." Questions will be answered, and there will be a mock audition, after learning a little dancing and a song.
The workshop will cover:
- How to prepare and what to bring to an audition
- What to wear
- Audition etiquette
- Tips on cold readings
- Learning choreography
- Tips on song choices and singing
All participants will bring home a packet with all of the information presented in the workshop to review before auditions. The workshop will conclude with a Q&A session
with the parents to get any further questions answered.
The cost is $15 and includes membership in the Westborough Players Club for the 2012-2013 season. For
