Girls Scouts Seeking Donations for Yard Sale

Westborough Girl Scout Troop 30510 is holding a yard sale fundraiser on October 19th from 8:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. in the Hastings Elementary parking lot at 111 E. Main Street in Westborough. Troop 30510 is on their final push to earn funds for their trip to Costa Rica in July 2020. The girls have been saving for over 5 years. On the trip, which will be run by Outward Bound Costa Rica, Troop 30510 will participate in an adventure-based leadership program. Each member of the troop is assigned a position, such as Captain, Naturalist, Reporter, and Safety Officer. They rotate through these positions over the course of the week and learn valuable skills about working together as a group. Their adventures will include whitewater rafting, ziplining, and hiking near a volcano. The girls will also participate in a service project.
