Hannah Kane Hosts Third Annual Charity Golf Classic

State Representative Hannah Kane will host her third annual charity golf tournament in Boylston on August 21st at The Haven Country Club.

WESTBOROUGH, MA - From the Office of State Representative Hannah Kane: State Representative Hannah Kane is pleased to host her third annual charity golf tournament which takes place, Monday, August 21st at The Haven Country Club in Boylston, MA. The Haven is a private 18-hole championship golf course. The Gene J. DeFeudis Family Foundation has again graciously offered its support as Presenting Sponsor.

Representative Kane, Tournament Director Beth Casavant, Auction Chair Melissa Pride-Fahs and the Host Committee are thrilled to return to The Haven. The Haven is always a beautiful backdrop for a fun day of golf for charity. They are also pleased and honored to welcome back returning sponsors and welcome any new sponsors who share Representative Kane’s strong commitment to community service.

Representative Kane shared, “I am excited to host this third annual charity event, and while it is certainly fun to gather on a beautiful course to golf and enjoy each other’s company one day a year, the organizations that this fundraiser supports work hard each and every day to support our neighbors and friends who simply need a helping hand.” Kane further reiterates that she is optimistic to continue the success of last year’s tournament, and build upon the $51,000 that was raised primarily for the following worthy local charities that provide vital human services for our community. • St. Anne’s Human Services assists the poor and needy in the local community with food and clothing,
• Shrewsbury Youth and Family Services is a private, non-profit community counseling and social services agency,
• Westborough Food Pantry serves families in need a good array of nutritious food to supplement their own resources.

The Day of the event presents the following opportunities for the press to capture photos and interviews at the event with a sold out field of 144 golfers:

· 9: 00 AM – Registration and Continental Breakfast,
· 10:30 AM - Shotgun start,
· BBQ luncheon served on the golf course,
· 4:00 PM - 19th Hole Reception,
· 5:00 PM - Awards Program & Raffle Drawings - Raffle tickets sold and raffle open until 5 pm.
