Hit-And-Run Driver Injures Boy, 12, In Westborough
The 12-year-old was in a crosswalk Thursday evening when a driver hit him and left the scene.
WESTBOROUGH, MA — A hit-and-run driver injured a 12-year-old Thursday evening near one of Westborough's traffic areas.
The incident happened near 4:30 p.m. Thursday when the boy was crossing in a crosswalk at the downtown rotary, where traffic from Routes 135 and 30 mix in the downtown area. The driver continued on after hitting the boy head-on, police said.
The 12-year-old was not seriously injured, police said.
