Illustrator Kevin Barry Visits to Sign New Children's Book

Barry illustrated "Halfway Wild," and will visit Westborough to talk about and sign copies of the new book.

WESTBOROUGH, MA—The illustrator of a new children's book will be in Westborough this weekend.

Kevin M. Barry, illustrator of “Halfway Wild,” a children's picture book geared toward 3-7 p.m., visits Tatnuck Bookseller on Sunday, Sept. 25, from noon to 2 p.m.

Halfway Wild, by debut children’s author Laura Freudig, "is a poetic and playful picture book that investigates feelings, emotions, and imaginations. It follows one family through the course of a day as they march through meadows like ants, dive to the depths like seals, play hide and seek like fireflies, and chatter like raccoons, until, at last, '. . . when the house is still and all we can hear are the soft, slow breaths of the ones we love, we’re a family of bears.'"
