Elsie Kaye Gift Shop &amp; Artisan Studio In 2009, on a whim, Holly Kenny took a flameworking class and learned to make glass beads. This sparked a love of glass art and led to the launch her business, Elsie Kaye Gift Shop and Art Studio in downtown Westborough. Holly currently teaches flameworking and metalworking at her studio and is on the faculty at the New England Craft Program in Williamsburg, MA. Holly loves the fluidity and movement of glass and enjoys incorporating metals, enamels and other elements that can change the texture and appearance of the glass. As a result, much of her work takes on an abstract, organic feel. Her work, under the name Elsie Kaye Glassworks, can be found at more than 50 boutiques and galleries across the country. Holly is passionate about promoting emerging local artists by selling their work at her retail shop, as well as helping to foster connections with new and existing businesses in the local area. She is an active member of her community, where she has lived with her husband and two children since 2006.

WESTBOROUGH, MA — Police and fire crews were responding to a crash along the Mass Pike Wednesday morning near the I-495 interchange. Westborough and Hopkinton firefighters were at the scene of the crash near mile marker 105, which is about a mile before I-495. Firefighters said reported one or more injuries related to the incident. Firefighters cautioned drivers to prepare for slowdowns in the area, and delays past the scene of the crash.
