Julio's Selling Off Rare Whiskies This Weekend

WESTBOROUGH, MA—Up to 500 people will at least get a chance at possibly purchasing the whiskey of choice at a special sale this weekend at Julio's Liquors.

Julio's Liquors in Westborough is sell off a number of rare whiskies this weekend through a special lottery system, the company announced. The event is hosted by the Loch and Key Whisk(e) Society, which reminds us, "there's never a bad day for a good whiskey."

The event on Sunday, July 31, at 10 a.m., will work with the first 500 people getting a "Unicorn Card" allowing them to put their choice of purchase into a lottery.

Then at at 1 p.m., the winners will be drawn and allowed to purchase the bottle of their interest.

The whiskies up for sale include a $500 bottle of 23-year-old Pappy Van Winkle and a bottle set valued at $1,000, said Julio's.
