Logs: Fire Alarms at Fountainhead and Park Village

The following information was obtained from the logs of the Westborough police and fire departments and scanner reports. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

 

Here are excerpts from the Westborough police and fire logs. Please note that this is a sampling of activity in the log, not a complete account. We report all arrests; other than that, we pick out incidents you might find interesting.

Tuesday, Feb. 21

7:17 a.m.: Officers Christopher Atchue and Dean Paine investigated a traffic situation at the corner of Lyman and Canfield streets. ARRESTED: Jemimah Faith Ndungi, 25, 550 Center St., Apt. 9, Jamaica Plain. CHARGES: Operating a motor vehicle with a license suspended for OUI.

8:25 a.m.: A larceny was reported on Turnpike Road. Officer Terry Peters responded. A field interrogation report was filed.

9:21 a.m.: A man called 911 to report that he thought he was having heart attack. He thought he was on Route 9 in Westborough, but local emergency responders could not find him. He identified his surroundings by businesses that he could see. Shrewsbury and Framingham police departments were notified, as they also had locations of the same businesses. The man was reported to be in Framingham.

10:49 a.m.: A fire was reported at Park Village apartments on East Main Street. responded. .

12:32 p.m.: A crash with injuries was reported on Milk Street, near the Northborough line. Officer Laura Grasso assisted paramedics at the scene. At least one person was taken to the hospital.

12:55 p.m.: Fire alarms were sounding at . Firefighters and Officer Terry Peters investigated. Burnt food was blamed for the alarms.

3 p.m.: An ambulance was requested on Computer Drive. Westborough paramedics and Officer Laura Grasso responded. A patient was taken to the hospital.

5 p.m.: Emergency medical services were requested on Spruce Street. Officers Michael Daniels and Laura Grasso assisted Westborough paramedics at the residence. A patient was taken to the hospital.

5:03 p.m.: A crash was reported at the junction of Milk Street and Robin Road. Officers Caleb Polseno, Jeffrey Johnson, Clifford Luce and Brian Massey investigated. A field interrogation report was filed.

5:20 p.m.: Vandalism was reported on Bridle Lane. Officer Laura Grasso responded. A field interrogation report was filed.

8:38 p.m.: An ambulance was requested on Computer Drive. Westborough paramedics and Officer Laura Grasso assisted. A patient was taken to the hospital.

Wednesday, Feb. 22

6:23 a.m.: A crash was reported on Turnpike Road. Sgt. Peter Goodney and Officers Dean Paine and Paul Pinto investigated. A field interrogation report was filed.

9:28 a.m.: Emergency medical services were requested for a 93-year-old woman at the on Rogers Rd. Officers Jeffrey Keaveney and Joshua Croft responded along with Westborough paramedics. The woman was taken to the hospital.

4:41 p.m.: A larceny was reported on Union Street. Officers Clifford Luce, Brian Massey, Jeffrey Johnson and Caleb Poleno investigated. A field interrogation report was filed.

7:05 p.m.: An ambulance was requested on Water Street. Officers Caleb Polseno and Jeffrey Johnson assisted Westborough paramedics at the residence. A patient was taken to the hospital.

Thursday, Feb. 23

5:54 a.m.: Emergency medical services were requested on Baldwin Court. Officer Paul Pinto and Westborough paramedics helped at the residence. A patient was taken to the hospital.

7:59 a.m.: A crash was reported at the junction of Otis Street and Smith Parkway.

8:54 a.m.: An ambulance was requested on Flanders Road. Officers Caleb Polseno and Jeffrey Johnson responded with the Westborough paramedics. A patient was taken to the hospital.

9:10 a.m.: Harassing phone calls were reported on Turnpike Road. Officer Brian Massey investigated. A field interrogation report was filed.

10:46 a.m.: Officers Caleb Polseno and Jeffrey Johnson responded to a report of a suspicious car on Old Meetinghouse Road. The car was said to be a blue Chrysler sitting in the cul-de-sac with a middle-aged man and woman inside. The car was not there when police arrived.

11:20 a.m.: Officer Brian Massey assisted with a funeral procession on South Street.

11:43 a.m.: An ambulance was requested on Beach Street for a woman who was bleeding. Officer Brian Massey and Westborough paramedics responded. The woman was taken to a hospital.

1:36 p.m.: A crash was reported on Turnpike Road. Sgt. Steven Reale and Officers Caleb Polseno and Jeffrey Johnson assisted. A field interrogation report was filed.

3:55 p.m.: Identity theft was reported on Hadley Lane. Officer Leeanne Baker investigated. A field interrogation report was filed.

4:50 p.m.: A crash was reported at the intersection of Lyman Street and Turnpike Road. Officer Gregory McRae responded. A field interrogation report was filed.

5:17 p.m.: A larceny was reported on West Park Drive. An employee of a business there reported seeing a suspicious man walking through the office cubicles. Shortly after he left, an employee reported a missing wallet. Officer Leeanne Baker assisted at the offices. A field interrogation report was filed.
