Longtime Worcester News Radio Station Brings its Signal to Westborough

WCRN, “True Talk 580 AM” radio, which has long been located in downtown Worcester at 82 Franklin St. will have its home in a new building on Route 9 in Westborough, reported the Worcester Telegram and Gazette.

General Sales Manager Chris Thompson told the Telegram that the station’s management had been considering the move, and that it provided an opportunity, and a much bigger signal at 50,000 watts. WCRN has approximately eight employees, and will continue to focus on news talk.

WCRN features shows by longtime on-air personalities such as Hank Stolz, and also syndicates national news shows hosted by Howie Carr and Dennis Miller.
