Massachusetts Lt. Governor Polito Joins Westborough Economic Development Committee and Cidewalk to Talk Small Business Growth
As part of Lt. Governor Karyn Polito’s charter to support small businesses across the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, the Lt. Governor addressed and met with MetroWest-area business owners attending Cidewalk’s Small Business Online Marketing Workshop at the offices of Cidewalk parent company, online ad network Chitika, in Westborough.
The event is the first in an ongoing series of free workshops designed to educate small businesses on new ways to maximize their business’ success. Cidewalk organized the event in collaboration with the Westborough Economic Development Committee (EDC).
After a roundtable discussion with several local business owners, along with a presentation on online marketing topics from Cidewalk and Wakefly, Lt. Governor Polito spoke about how the new administration is planning on assisting small business owners:

“While we are happy to have large businesses based here in MetroWest and around the Commonwealth, one of the biggest drivers of jobs and strong communities are small businesses,” said the Lt. Governor. “One of my main responsibilities as part of the Baker administration is to help strengthen the business environment here in Massachusetts. Events like the one tonight support Massachusetts small business owners by keeping them educated on new tools and techniques, helping them grow.”
Cidewalk will be hosting the next Small Business Workshop in the summer of 2015.
