Man Charged With Stealing Baby Formula, Slashing Arm Of Employee With Box Cutter: Police
A man was arrested at a drug facility in Worcester after allegedly stealing baby formula from Target and slashing the arm of an employee.

WESTBOROUGH, MA—A Target employee's arm was slashed by a man who was allegedly stealing baby formula from the store, according to police.
Around 6:18 p.m. on July 31, Westborough police were called to Target on Route 9 for a report of shoplifting and the slashing of an employee's arm.
A man had been stealing baby formula, according to investigators, and was confronted by loss prevention at the front of the store. The suspect swung at the employee with a box cutter, slashing his arm, said police.

The employee was treated by Paramedics from the Westborough Fire Dept. and was transported to UMass Medical for treatment.
Since a similar shoplifting incident happened at Wegmans in Northborough, the Worcester and Northborough police departments coordinated an investigation with Westborough.

On Aug. 29, Worcester police were able to locate and arrest the suspect at a drug treatment facility in the city. The suspect was identified as Thomas P. Millott, 33, who was listed as homeless. In his possession at the time of his arrest, Worcester Police located a box cutter similar to the weapon used to slash the arm of the Target employee.
Millott was charged with Assault and battery by means of a dangerous weapon and shoplifting.
