Marco Micucci Wins Westborough Lions Club Scholarship

Westborough High School senior, Marco Micucci, was awarded the Westborough Lions Club Post-Secondary Education Scholarship last evening at their May meeting. Marco was chosen for his strong academics, service to the community, and his ability to overcome an obstacle in achieving his success. Marco plans on studying Finance at Bentley University in the fall.

This is the fourth year that the Lions have sponsored this scholarship. The club always receives many competitive applications. The Westborough Lions are very proud to have awarded Marco this scholarship. He exemplifies the heart of Lion in all that he does!

The Westborough Lions would like to thank everyone who adopted ducks and businesses that bought sponsorships for their recent Kenducky Derby at the Mill Pond Spillway on May 4th. The event funded the scholarship and also a one-week, overnight campership to the Barton Center for Diabetes Education in N. Oxford, MA for a local child with Type 1 Diabetes.
