Marlborough Man Charged With Weapons Trafficking: Police

The ATF and Westborough police say the 23-year-old sold guns illegally in that town.

WESTBOROUGH, MA — A Marlborough man is facing weapons trafficking charges for selling guns illegally in Westborough, according to police.

Last week, Westborough police and agents from the federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms (ATF) arrested the 23-year-old at his Marlborough home.

According to Westborough police, the man sold guns illegally in that town while living there in the past.

"This has been an ongoing investigation for several months in collaboration between the ATF and the Westborough Police detective bureau," Westborough police said.

The man was charged with trafficking firearms, selling or transferring large capacity firearms and possession of firearms without a license.
