Will Schiffman remembers Josh, and will honor him this Sunday.
Two years ago, Schiffman played for the Westborough 10-Year-Old All-Star baseball team. And, like every other 10-year-old baseball all-star team in Massachusetts, the Westborough players raised money for the Jimmy Fund, Schiffman said. The Westborough team raised more than $28,000 -- tops in the state, earning a Fenway Park trip, Schiffman said.
Josh had cancer. And he "came to our games and our practices, and he sat on the bench with us the whole game, threw out first pitches for all the games for all the games, and he was given a uniform," Schiffman said.

"It was great to see him out and about. To see someone our age, with what he's going through, and how we can help him," said Schiffman, now a sixth grader at the Mill Pond School.
This Sunday, inspired by Josh, who died later that year, Schiffman has organized a fundraiser to help people with cancer.

Dunk One In for Cancer, a basketball tournament to benefit the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and The Jimmy Fund, will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Boston Sports Club at Westborough.
The event is Schiffman's bar mitzvah project.
"I wanted to make a difference with my bar mitzvah. I wanted to help someone," he said.
The event is open to boys and girls ages nine to 16.
There is a suggested donation of $25 per player.
Schiffman said he hoped to raise raise $1,000 "but, we've already exceeded that."
Josh's presence will be felt during the event.
"Josh's family is going to be coming," Schiffman said.
?His brother said he just framed the jersey that we gave him."
