More Than 1,200 Westborough Voters Have Cast Ballots in Presidential Election

Westborough residents are jumping to take advantage of early voting in Massachusetts.

WESTBOROUGH, MA—For the first time ever in Massachusetts, voters have a chance to vote early for the presidential and state election, and for some towns and cities, its residents have jumped at the opportunity.

After a three-day tally, Westborough Town Clerk Wendy Mickel processed 1,200 early voter ballots since early voting began on Monday, Oct. 24. Mickel said she expected the Thursday tally to run around 400 votes.

"It has been a steady stream of voters coming in. The coordination of Senior Facilities and Council on Aging Shuttle Buses has been efficient. Many seniors have come to Vote Early as well as other voters.
