Neighbor's Dog Alerts Residents To Westborough House Fire

WESTBOROUGH, MA — Residents of one Westborough home are thanking their neighbor's dog for spotting a fire at their home just in time. The fire broke out in a home on Hundreds Road overnight but Westborough fire crews were able to catch it before it spread.

Fire officials said the blaze was quickly put out and limited to the outside of the home including the deck and hot tub. No one was injured.

The fire department offered a special thanks to the dog for sounding the alarm.
