The Gifting Tree is “a decidedly different gift shop” featuring American-made artisan products that are both beautiful and functional. Unique product lines include hand-poured artisan candles by Paddywax, scented handcrafted felted soaps by Fiat Luxe, and stunning blown glass bowls and vases from family-owned Blenko Glass Company. Elsie Kaye Glassworks features one-of-a-kind sterling and copper jewelry and stainless steel kitchenware and giftware, all designed using handmade glass beads created by Westborough artist Holly Kenny.
Beth Surber, owner of The Gifting Tree says, “I am really excited to share our take on gift giving. I enjoy seeking out truly special products. Often when I can’t find what I’m looking for we create it ourselves. The biggest reward has been hearing how much a recipient loved a gift from our shop.”

Holly Kenny, artist and owner of Elsie Kaye Glassworks, sees the blending of the two businesses as a perfect match. “Opening up a retail location has been a goal since I started out of my home studio in 2008 and this just seemed to be the right opportunity. My glass beaded kitchenware and giftware pair so well with the handcrafted housewares and gifts that Beth hand-picks for the shop.”
Surber and Kenny envision The Gifting Tree as the ‘go to’ gift shop for Westborough residents. The goal, they say, is to create a warm and personal shopping experience for their clients. To that end, the store offers complementary gift wrapping, as well as a “kids nook” where younger ones play while their parents shop. They also will be serving hand-blended artisanal tea from The Tea Guys out of Western Massachusetts. The Gifting Tree will host kids’ birthday parties as well as ladies night out jewelry making and local fundraising events.
The Gifting Tree is celebrating its Grand Opening with free gifts with purchases and free crafts for the kids. Don’t miss this two day shopping celebration!
