New Leader Selected For Corridor 9/495 Chamber Board

The Westborough-based business organization primarily supports businesses in MetroWest.

WESTBOROUGH, MA — A new leader has been selected to serve as chair of a local chamber board of directors.

Joseph “Joe” Sova, a longtime commercial banking executive who has served as a Chamber member since 2016, will lead the Corridor 9/495 Regional Chamber of Commerce's Board of Directors. Sova brings more than 50 years of business and financial leadership experience to the role.

The Westborough-based business organization primarily supports businesses in Westborough, Northborough, Southborough, Marlborough, Shrewsbury, Framingham and Grafton.

Sova has served on the Chamber's Board of Directors and Executive Committee, and has chaired the Chamber’s Golf Committee since 2019, helping raise money for the organization’s scholarship program for graduating high school seniors across the MetroWest region.

Plus, during his 51-year banking career, he served as senior vice president at both Avidia Bank and Fidelity Bank.

Outside the Chamber, Sova serves as treasurer of the Gardner Industrial Foundation and the Gardner Industrial Development Corporation, roles tied to community and economic development work.

In an announcement on Thursday, the Chamber said Sova's work reflects "his longstanding dedication to community and economic development initiatives."
