New Temple to Open in Westborough

Milford's New England Sikh Study Circle is opening a new temple in Westborough.

WESTBOROUGH, MA — Gurwara Sahib, Milford’s New England Sikh Study Circle’s new temple, will likely be finished by Labor Day weekend of this year.

Despite delays because of the heavy snow in 2014, the new temple being constructed on Flanders Road, is on schedule to be completed, reports the Community Advocate.

The outer shell of the building is complete, and additional funds were raised to pay for the blasting of a significant ledge on the property.

The congregation is moving from its current home in Milford at 204 East Main St.
