Obituary: Thelma Plotkin, 96, of Odessa, Texas

Thelma Jayne Plotkin, 96, of Odessa, TX, passed from this life on Monday, Aug. 6. Jayne was born May 14, 1916 in Harrisburg, PA to George and Athelia (Hayes) Horton. Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter, Karen Quarles and Tommy Jeffery of Odessa, TX, son George Crane of Springfield, MA, and daughter, Susan Ormondroyd and husband Peter of Westborough, MA. She is survived by eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her first husband, Julius Crane, her second husband, Jacob Plotkin and her sister, Virginia Lupien. Graveside funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 10 in Holy Society Cemetery (Chevra Kadisha Cemetery) on Cemetery Road in Worcester, under the direction of Richard Perlman of Brezniak-Rodman Funeral Home of Newton. Memorial Observance will be held through Friday afternoon, August 10th and Sunday afternoon through Sunday evening, August 12th at the residence of Susan and Peter Ormondroyd, 51 Mt.
