Officer's Response To Domestic Violence Assault Awarded: Patch PM

WESTBOROUGH, MA — Hopefully you're enjoying this sunny (but frigid) Tuesday afternoon because two days of darkness are on the way as a major Nor'easter takes aim at the state.

In Westborough today, the Worcester County District Attorney handed out an award to a police officer credited with saving a woman who was being stabbed during a domestic violence incident.

The victim did survive, but the officer shot and killed the attacker during the November 2019 incident.
