Police and Fire Logs: Feb. 4

Three car garage collapses under heavy snow.

3:27 a.m.: It was reported that a car with no tail lights almost caused an accident on Route 9 eastbound near . The incident was investigated, but the search did not find the car.  

6:10 a.m.: Officer Paul Pinto investigated a report of vandalism on West Main Street.  

6:13 a.m.: Sgt. Chester Hallice and Officer Ethan Hillman responded to a burglar alarm on Turnpike Road. It was officially listed as accidental.

7:05 a.m.: Emergency medical services were requested on Sassacus Drive for someone having  trouble breathing. An ambulance was dispatched to the scene and the patient was taken to the hospital. Officer Ethan Hillman investigated the incident.  

8:42 a.m.: investigated a carbon monoxide detector activation on Denfeld Drive. No problems were found at the scene.

9:28 a.m.: A smoke scare was reported on Route 9. Fire personnel were sent to the scene to investigate.

9:28 a.m.: A weakened building was reported on Hopkinton Road. The responded to the scene. 

9:43 a.m.: Emergency medical services were requested on Hopkinton Road. Officer Dean Paine, Sgt. Steven Reale and Chief Alan Gordon investigated. 

11:01 a.m.: Emergency medical services were requested on East Main Street. An ambulance was dispatched to the scene and a patient was taken to the hospital. Officer Craig Hillier also assisted.  

1:28 p.m.: A fire alarm sounded on Flanders Road. Fire personnel went to the scene to investigate. Officer Craig Hillier also responded to the incident. No problems were found and the alarm was logged as a malfunction.  

2:12 p.m.: Emergency services were requested on Maynard Street for a building collapse. A 3-car garage fell under the weight of the snow. Officer Dean Paine and Sgt. Steven Reale responded to the scene. Fire personnel investigated the safety of the building. The building inspector was also called to the area.  

3:48 p.m.: A motor vehicle accident with no injuries was reported in the parking lot on Lyman Street. Officer Terry Peters responded to the scene.  

4:49 p.m.: Officers Leeanne Baker, Tyson Delong and Richard Trainor investigated a disabled auto on Computer Drive.  

5:07 p.m.: The Westborough Fire Department responded to a report of a building might collapse. A business on West Park Drive reported ceiling tiles starting to buckle. The fire alarm was pulled to evacuate the building. Fire personnel were on scene to evaluate the situation. 

8:08 p.m.: Officer Tyson Delong investigated a report of a disabled auto near the intersection of Route 9 and Milk Street. The driver reported having visual issues because of faulty windshield clearing. He assisted her into the parking lot of where she made arrangements for another ride.  

8:19 p.m.: Officers Richard Trainor and Leeanne Baker investigated a report that 15 to 20 youths had just left the train station on Smith Parkway and were walking in the middle of the road.  

9:55 p.m.: Officers Tyson Delong and Leeanne Baker assisted a disabled motorist on East Main Street.
