Police and Fire Logs: Feb. 7

A fractured arm, a burnt meal and a stuck truck make the logs.

3:03 a.m.: Emergency medical services were requested on Route 9. Officer Paul Pinto went to the scene. An ambulance was dispatched the incident and a patient was taken to the hospital.

6:45 a.m.: Police received a report of a disabled automobile on Route 9 near the Green Thumb. The car was said to be in the left lane. Officers Paul Pinto and Jeffrey Keaveney responded to the area. No disabled car was found.

8:15 a.m.: A possible gas leak was reported at the administration building on East Main Street. An odor of gas was detected. The Fire Department sent an engine to the scene. NSTAR was called to the scene. Fire officials stayed on site until NSTAR arrived. A small leak at the meter was found and repaired.

9:11 a.m.: Officer Domenic Annunziata delivered a summons on Lyman Street.

9:13 a.m.: Officer Tyson Delong investigated a reported jackknifed tractor trailer on Oak Street. No problems were found on arrival.

12:23 p.m.: A smoke detector was activated at the Fountainhead Apartments. The responded to the scene. The incident was reported to be from burnt food. The system was restored. Officer Tyson Delong assisted at the scene.

1:03 p.m.: Emergency medical services were requested for a man who was behind the . An ambulance was dispatched and the man was taken to the hospital. Officer Tyson Delong investigated.

2:05 p.m.: Emergency medical services were requested on Turnpike Road for a man with the flu. An ambulance was dispatched to the scene.

2:14 p.m. An accident with property damage was reported near the on East Main Street. Officer Domenic Annunziata investigated.

2:48 p.m.: Officer Tyson Delong delivered a summons on Turnpike Road.

2:58 p.m.: Officer Tyson Delong unsuccessfully attempted to deliver a summons on Turnpike Road.

3:31 p.m.: Officer Tyson Delong delivered a summons on Turnpike Road.

3:37 p.m.: An ambulance was dispatched to Lyman Street where a patient was taken to the hospital from the Willows.

4:35 p.m.: Emergency medical services were requested on Technology Drive. An ambulance was sent to the scene and a patient was taken to the hospital. Officer Jeffrey Keaveney investigated.

5:45 p.m.: Emergency medical services were requested on Milk Street. An ambulance was dispatched to the scene.

7:05 p.m.: Police received a report of a man walking on crutches near jersey barriers on Route 9. The man was said to be heading eastbound in the westbound lane. Officers Michael Daniels and Jeffrey Keaveney investigated.

7:10 p.m.: Emergency medical services were requested at on Otis Street for a girl who had an “obvious fracture” in her arm. Det. Jeffrey Chase responded to the scene. An ambulance was dispacted to the incident.

7:52 p.m.: Police received a report that a tractor trailor needed to be turned around in the area of Route 9 and . The truck was said to be blocking traffic. Officials responded to the scene and assisted in getting the truck turned around.

8:11 p.m.: An ambulance was dispatched to Computer Drive and a patient was taken to the hospital.
