Positional Therapy Workshop with Pat Lebau. Relieve headaches, neck, shoulder, low back and knee pain.

Sat, April 30, 10:30am–12:30pm. SOHUM Yoga and Meditation Studio, www.sohum.org, 508-329-3338.

Integrated positional therapy in a yoga class context creates awareness of tender and trigger points to release them. Counterintuitively, bringing muscles into slack is enormously therapeutic. The side you stretch in a yoga pose is the side you are usually aware of. In positional therapy, you learn to be aware of the side getting UNstretched! It's a huge AHA and shift - a truly astonishing realization - that you can slacken soreness into release. And the release can be sudden and long lasting! Then once you have this new awareness your daily patterns of movement and possible discomfort become clearer. You have new knowledge to help relieve stress and strain of daily living. This workshop is suitable for yogis of all levels and will be gentle and soothing. Come release into bliss with Pat Lebau, Kripalu 500 E-RYT and positional therapy level 1 yoga teacher.

Early bird Pricing $25 until April 29 ($30 after).
