Removing Smoking Odors From Your Home

One of my biggest challenges, as a REALTOR, is addressing odors caused from smoking.  Odors from cigarette smoke is a huge turnoff to many buyers, and the smell is difficult to remove once it is in the floors.

For homeowners who do smoke, I would strongly encourage giving up this dirty habit.  Besides well documented health issues related to smoking, it's can really affect the value of your home.  In many cases, buyers won't consider homes smelling of tobacco.
