Satwik Dash Wins MD33 Lions State Peace Poster Contest
Mill Pond School 6th Grader Moves on to International Contest on Feb. 1st
Satwik Dash, a 6th grade student at the Mill Pond School in Westborough, has won the Lions MD33 State Peace Poster prize for 2023-24. The theme was ‘Dare to Dream’. Satwik had previously won the local Westborough Lions Club Peace Poster Contest and the Lions District 33A (Worcester County) Peace Poster Contest earlier in the fall.
His poster now moves on to the International Competition on February 1st, where the winner will receive $5,000 and a trip to an awards ceremony at the United Nations. An additional twenty-three Merit Award winners will receive $500. We wish Satwik much luck as he moves on to the world stage in this prestigious Lions Clubs International Contest promoting peace in our world! Congratulations Satwik!
