Scam Warning From Westborough Police
If you received this call this week, beware ... and ignore.
Many residents on Wednesday received a call from someone claiming to be from the IRS, said Westborough police.
The caller told the person who answered the phone that they were being sued by the IRS and then given a phone number to call.
Westborough is warning that this is a scam and that the IRS would never call with this type of message.
