Sen. Ed Markey In Westborough To Campaign For Donaghue
Westborough resident Kate Donaghue is vying for the new 19th Worcester seat against Republican Jonathan Hostage.

WESTBOROUGH, MA — Westborough state House candidate Kate Donaghue will get a boost this week with U.S. Sen. Ed Markey in town to help Donaghue reach voters.
Markey will visit Westborough on Wednesday afternoon to help Donaghue and volunteers canvass local voters. Markey last won election in 2020 after a heated primary race against former Democratic Congressman Joe Kennedy III.
Donaghue began her bid for the new 19th Worcester state House seat in January. The new seat, created after the 2020 Census, encompasses Westborough, Southborough and Northborough and a portion of Framingham along the Southborough line between approximately Edmands Road and Route 30. State Reps. Danielle Gregoire, D-Marlborough, Hannah Kane, R-Shrewsbury, and Meg Kilcoyne, D-Clinton, split the new 19th Worcester district today.
