Summer 2014 Spain Tour Approved

A group of Westborough High School students will visit Spain during the summer of 2014.
The school committee on Wednesday night approved the trip proposed by Spanish teacher Alyssa Achenbach.
"It's really an interactive look at Spain, which I'm really excited about," she said.

The trip will be open to Spanish students, targeting sophomores and juniors, Achenbach said.
The cost will be about $3,200 to $3,300, paid by the students, she said.

The tour will be offered through EducationFirst Educational Tours, Achenbach said.
EducationFirst developed the Global Student Leaders Summit: Addressing Environmental Sustainability, which 13 WHS students, and teachers Darrell Potosnak and Diane Rodriguez, will attend in Costa Rica from April 14 to April 22.
