Time to choose that Tree!

Civic Club's annual Tree, Wreaths and Roping sale now on

Trees, wreaths and roping arrived early Saturday morning and are beginning to fly off the Civic Club tree lot located at 111 East Main St. Now into its 43rd. year Club President Walter Leslie is confident that this season will be one of the busiest for the sale of trees, wreaths and roping. ''With almost an extra week between Thanksgiving and Christmas folks really like to buy early so as to get the most out of them. We have already seen a great number of trees and wreaths going out over the first weekend of sales. We are again finding the larger 11-13 ft. trees popular as we are one of the local few suppliers with that range of size". Civic Club volunteers are ready to help anyone coming down to the lot at 111 East Main St. (Hastings School) choose a tree and with a great selection of heights - from 3 ft. and up - there is something for everyone. As always, the lot is open weekdays from 3.30 p.m. - 9 p.m. and 9.00-9.00 on weekends, with all money raised going to causes in and around the local community.
