Town Moderator Takes Steps To Help Residents Prep For Vote

WESTBOROUGH, MA- The Annual Town Meeting is right around the corner and Westborough's Town Moderator wants to make sure all the residents feel prepared when its their turn to take the mic.

The Town Moderator will be holding Office Hours in the Meeting Room of the Public Library to help voters prepare for the Town Meeting on Sunday, Mar. 10 from 1 to 3 p.m. and on Monday, Mar. 11 from 7 to 8:45 p.m.

The Annual Town Meeting votes on budgets for all Town departments, capital spending by the Town, zoning bylaws, and other articles on the warrant. This year’s warrant also includes voting on funding for the demolition and replacement of the Fales Elementary School. Voters are encouraged to attend these office hours to learn more about the Town Meeting process, how they can prepare to participate, and the topics that will be coming up for vote at the Town Meeting.

Annual Town Meeting will be in the High School Auditorium at 1 pm on Mar. 16.
